Quick hits from the booth walkaround:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Completely different frame<\/strong> vs prior gens<\/li>\n<li><strong>New stippling \/ texturing<\/strong> \u2014 not as aggressive as the old RTF, but it works<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nice undercut<\/strong> on the trigger guard<\/li>\n<li><strong>More serrations<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>A little <strong>thumb rest<\/strong> built into the frame<\/li>\n<li><strong>Optics ready<\/strong> out of the box<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I ran it the old-timer way for first shots \u2014 <strong>straight iron pistol sights<\/strong> \u2014 even though it\u2019s optics-ready. Wanted the raw feel before stacking a red dot.<\/p>\n<h2>First shots<\/h2>\n<p>Booth live-fire, not a 500-round abuse test.
