Squat Squad, BANISH just dropped a new .30 cal can, and this one is aimed straight at the guys who run gas guns hard. The BANISH HD 762 INC is a 7.62 NATO/.308 suppressor printed entirely out of 718 Inconel. It’s full-auto rated and built to keep back pressure down on AR-10s, 6mm ARs and other gas-operated rifles.
Quick note: this one is based on BANISH’s press release and BANISH’s own product page. I’ve shot BANISH cans before with Silencer Central (video below), but I haven’t had the HD 762 INC on a rifle yet.
TL;DR
- What it is: a 7.62/.30 cal rifle suppressor, 100% additively manufactured 718 Inconel.
- Where it fits: the second can in BANISH’s Heavy Duty (HD) line, after the HD 556 INC.
- Built for gas guns: nine baffles and eight helical vents in a controlled-flow design to keep back pressure low.
- Hard use: full-auto rated, no barrel length restrictions, rated from 5.56 NATO up to .300 RUM.
- Mounting: ships with a 5/8×24 direct-thread mount, plus industry-standard HUB threads for QD mounts.
- Available now through BANISH dealers in Black or FDE Cerakote. Made in the USA.
What’s going on inside
Gas guns are tough on cans, and a lot of cans are tough on gas guns. More back pressure means more gas in your face, a dirtier action and a rifle that cycles harder. BANISH’s answer is a controlled-flow design: nine baffles and eight helical vents that route expanding gas along a set path instead of just bottling it up. The goal is to keep back pressure low without giving up sound or flash suppression.
The whole thing is printed from 718 Inconel, which is the material you want when you’re worried about heat and high round counts. BANISH says the HD 762 INC is built to take sustained full-auto fire in harsh conditions. It’s also rated for high-pressure stuff like 6.5 Creedmoor, and BANISH’s product page specifically calls out compatibility with Federal 6.5 Creedmoor +Peak and 7mm Backcountry.
Sound numbers (BANISH internal testing)
- .308 Win supersonic, 16″ AR-10: 135.7 dB average at the shooter’s ear
- .300 Blackout subsonic, 16″ AR: 126.2 dB average at the shooter’s ear
Those are BANISH’s own numbers, measured at the shooter’s ear. That’s the measurement gas gun shooters actually care about, since that’s where the gas and blast hit you.

Who it’s for

- 6mm AR-15 and gas-gun precision shooters who want something tough enough for high-pressure cartridges.
- SBR guys who need a can with no barrel length restrictions.
- Full-auto and high round count shooters. If you dump mags, an all-Inconel can is the kind of thing you buy once.

My BANISH and Silencer Central video
A while back I hit Media Day with Silencer Central and shot their BANISH lineup. That was before the HD line existed, but it’s a good look at the brand and how they sell cans:
Our take
I like where BANISH is going with the HD line. A dedicated hard-use .30 cal can in Inconel, tuned for low back pressure, is exactly what the AR-10 crowd keeps asking for. At 6.7 inches and just under a pound without a mount, it isn’t a featherweight hunting can, and it isn’t trying to be. It’s meant to soak up heat and abuse on a gas gun. The HUB threads and the 1.9 inches of room for a brake or flash hider are smart touches that make it easy to fit into a setup you already have. The sound numbers are BANISH’s own, so I’d want to put a meter on it myself and see how gassy it really runs on a 16-inch AR-10. If it lives up to the low back pressure claims, this is one to look at if you’re shopping for a .30 cal can for a gas gun.
Where to find it
BANISH says the HD 762 INC is available now through BANISH dealers, and BANISH’s product page lists Silencer Central as a buying option. As always, suppressors go through the NFA process, so check your state’s laws first.
