Hey channel fans and family. Take a look at these from ATA. If you already know the Targa rifles — the ones that live in the same neighborhood as a Remington 700, and that a lot of you have seen as the Stevens 334 — the same company also makes the ALR. That is their chassis offering.
I have been trying to get these in for the channel for some time. The new part: Century Arms is importing them. That is the whole short. Forty-two seconds on the guns, not a range report, not a group-size article, not a price I am making up off a hang tag I did not read out loud.
What this short actually is
This is a first look at rifles that are finally headed into the U.S. pipeline. I did not shoot these on camera. I did not chronograph anything. I did not quote an MSRP. If you want the full T&E, that is the video I am hoping we can do once they actually show up.
What I can tell you from the clip:
- ATA Targa is the 700-pattern side of the family. Think Stevens 334 energy — same company, the bolt gun a lot of people already walked past in a Savage/Stevens rack.
- ATA ALR is the chassis version. Same maker, different furniture. That is the one I have been chasing.
- Century Arms is the importer now. That is why this is suddenly a U.S. conversation instead of a “maybe someday” conversation.
Do they shoot? Honest version
I have not punched paper with a U.S.-import ALR yet. What I said on camera is second-hand on purpose: talking to friends in Russia and Eastern Europe, they do shoot pretty well. That is a reputation note, not my group. Treat it that way.
The pitch, if Century actually gets them on shelves, is an attractive price point on a chassis rifle instead of “buy a hunting 700 and then buy a chassis.” We will find out if the import price matches that story when they land. I am not inventing a dollar amount to make the thumbnail work.

Bottom line
ATA already makes the Targa / Stevens 334-class 700-pattern rifles. The ALR is the chassis gun from the same house. Century is importing them. I have been trying to get one on the channel, and I am hoping we see them soon.
