What’s up, Squad. SK .22 LR has been hard to find. Not “sold out of the brick you wanted” hard — Standard Plus and Rifle Match disappearing for stretches, then showing up in dribs. We checked Creedmoor Sports this afternoon (September 2, 2026). They have SK Standard Plus, SK Rifle Match, and Lapua X-ACT in stock at the same time. That is the news. Eley Match, Target, Club, and Tenex are on the shelf too. RWS R50 is a bonus. Twenty-one rimfire SKUs on the in-stock filter, all 50-round boxes. No bricks.

Why the SK drought actually matters
If you run a CZ 457, a 10/22 that got serious, or anything in NRL 22 / PRS Rimfire, you already know: lot-to-lot, some rifles just like SK. Standard Plus is the practice / “good enough to train” line. Rifle Match is the step up a lot of us actually match with. When those two vanish, you either burn through whatever lot you already tested or you start over with something else. That is time and money.
Creedmoor is not a big-box volume shop. When they list a line, it is usually because they actually have boxes. We are not calling this a restock tsunami. We are saying: if you have been waiting on SK, the filter is green right now. Check it before you assume it is still empty.
SK Standard Plus — $10.95 / 50rd
$10.95 a box. SKU SK420101. This is the one people hunt when they want SK without paying Rifle Match money. Same family, looser spec. If your rifle already likes SK, Standard Plus is the volume ammo. If you have not lot-tested yet, buy a box, shoot a group, then decide whether to stack more.

SK Rifle Match — $12.95 / 50rd
$12.95 a box. SKU SK420108. This is the SK most of us mean when we say “match SK.” Two dollars over Standard Plus. If you already have a Rifle Match lot that prints, grab more of whatever is on the shelf and confirm the lot number when it lands. Do not assume today’s box is last month’s lot.

Lapua X-ACT — $39.95 / 50rd
$39.95 a box. SKU L420161. This is the top of Lapua’s rimfire stack, not a practice round. Center-X and Midas Plus are both out of stock here. If you were waiting on those, X-ACT is the one they actually have. Test it in your rifle. At this price you are buying a box to see if it groups, not a season of practice.

Eley is easier to find than SK right now. Still worth listing because Creedmoor has the useful rungs, not just one orphan SKU.

The practical bit
Buy a box. Lot-test. Then stack. Rimfire match ammo is not interchangeable by brand name — it is interchangeable by lot that your barrel likes. Standard Plus at $10.95 is the one to practice with if SK is your thing. Rifle Match at $12.95 is the one to confirm for matches. X-ACT and R50 are “do you already know” ammo, not impulse bricks. There are no bricks here anyway.
Ammo ships to eligible buyers only. Follow federal, state, and local law. If Creedmoor asks for a shipping state that will not take it, that is the law, not a coupon issue.
The move
If you have been sitting on an empty SK can, this is the window. Start with Standard Plus and Rifle Match. If you were hunting Lapua, X-ACT is what they have — Center-X and Midas Plus are not. R50 and Tenex if those are already on your dope card.
