Channel fans and family — at Shot Show 2024 I finally got into the Rise Armament booth I’d been looking forward to. We’ve talked a lot about 6mm ARC, .22 ARC, 6.5 Grendel, and precision ARs on the channel. Rise walked me through three big pieces: the Iconic independent two-stage MSR trigger, a pair of new Remington 700 triggers, and the Watchman rifle built around .22 ARC.

Iconic independent two-stage (MSR)
Cal from Rise called this their Iconic independent two-stage — two blades that operate independently inside the housing. On booth talk: about a 1 lb first stage into a distinct wall (no mush), then about a 2 lb pull to the break, with a crisp reset more like their single-stage feel.
- Aimed at precision AR work, but also hunting (prep the shot, let off if the deer steps behind a tree, come back to the wall)
- Useful teaching tool for Trigger Discipline — clear first stage, secure wall, then finish the squeeze
- True drop-in in a metal housing with anti-walk pins included — grip/safety out, old trigger out, Iconic in, pins, grip/safety back on

Remington 700: Reliant Hunter & Pro
These were the ones that really grabbed me on the floor — two Remington 700 / clone triggers with external adjustability while the trigger stays in the rifle.
- Reliant Hunter (green housing on booth): adjustable pull weight from outside the gun; booth range 3–5 lb; MSRP $159
- Pro: same external pull adjust plus external overtravel; booth range just under 1–3 lb; MSRP $259
- External safety lever on the housing
- Extra sear surface inside the housing as a stop-gap safety layer (Rise’s pitch vs. “lightweight trigger scare”)
- Compatible with any Remington 700 or clone action (including hanger-style clones, per booth)
- At filming, plan was shipping the following month
Pick Hunter if you want a set-it-and-forget hunting pull. Pick Pro if you want to get into the weeds for PRS-adjacent / dual-use bolt guns.
Watchman rifle in .22 ARC
Complete-rifle answer if you don’t want to tinker — Rise’s Watchman built around Hornady’s then-new .22 ARC. Booth highlights:
- Rise-manufactured barrel (rifling + contour in-house), pinned gas block, threaded muzzle
- New handguard with steel inserts / locking for rigidity, continuous 12:00 Picatinny, M-LOK around
- New trigger guard, contoured/indented takedown pins, safety selector, mag button, ambi charging handle
- Ships with the Iconic independent two-stage
- Booth accuracy claim: about 0.19 MOA groups at roughly 600 yards — that’s a booth number, not my chronograph / group card
- Primary audience pitch: varmint hunters (coyotes, prairie dogs); also fine as a fun range gun
- Booth release window: March; price talked around ~$2,299; direct + dealers
Other Rise chamberings mentioned as already in the lineup elsewhere: 6.5 Creedmoor, .308, AR-10s, and 5.56/.223 AR-15s. Extra ARC/.Grendel options were “if this does what we expect.”
Bottom line
